My field trip.

Today I left from BYU-Idaho campus around 6am for my first college field trip. We went to Spring feild to see some student art, there were some really fantasticO pieces. Here's some of the pieces I like most, they're the best in state. Eventually I got through the 300 plus high school pieces and made my way up stairs and found some really great pieces as well. After getting some great insight on the resources for art educators and some free swag we were off to the Provo campus to look at thier gallery. I had thought that I was going to transfer there some day and guess I'm still interested in that but it was just so overwhelming to be there.
I also went to a museme a block away from the conference center...
it was pretty dang amazing and had original Rembrant etchings. They had a great collection of stuff that related to the beginning of the LDS church. annnd wellpainters in the world and he is also a professor here. I love really textured paintings Provo was great! We picked up some lunch and then off to Salt Lake! I think the best part of the trip was that I was with other art ed majors. So This time around touring the conference center we made the guide take us to all of the paintings and sculptures. I never noticed how many originals were there! One of my most favo paintings how of the a whole set by an artist I like was the one and only one that was a print... quiet sad.
