E X P L O R I N G

Yesterday I went for a bike ride and took pictures with a friend's Camera.
It was fun to revisit where I went running the other day (about 6 miles).

Today I went over to Sugar City to the Nature Park and took pictures of some of the animal life. The nature park smelled like duck poop, unfortunatly pictures can't capture and replicate this smell for you...

day 4

so bascially it's got a lot of issues but hopefully I"ll fix them soon...

days 2 and 3

^ end of day three added more definition to the mountains and started in random colors...

(the purple) it's going to help make the birds that are going to be on the side not so random.

The sun being in the middle bothers me so I may try to fix it soon.

I'm excited for this painting because life always seems to become even better after I make a big piece. Unfortunetly I haven't had much time to get better infact I think I've been going backwords....

Day 1

so... basically all I've done is blocked in some colors

C o n s t r u c t i o n

This past Wednesday was a Great day. I had work went to class the fact that I didn't get hit by a car this week had already made it great... but then I went to the student store bought an ice cream and a milk and went outside. I was greeted by this. Of course there are more beautiful things in life.

I feel like a very lucky person. I think everyday is pretty good and I am lucky to have the chance to get an education, I have a great family, some pretty sweet friends, and I'm in a great enviorment.

Anyways after sitting on a bench and watching the sun set that night I was inspired to make a new painting.

I've already started to draw out the design on the paper. Although my creativity and talent level isn't where I want it to be I think I have developed enough to make my art pieces turn out how I'd like them to. I've decided to take the opportunity of this new painting to document how I go about making them. I'm going to take pictures along the way...
So i'll be posting my progress soon.

oh and by the way today was pretty great too.

everyone is going home, I find myself wishing i could join in with the kids back from Texas.

I have a friend who generously allows me to use his camera and shows me how to use my little cannon power shot. I used my camera for 3 of the pics above.
I'm still new with photography.
I hope I can only get better from here.
